Review of ICAMME 2025

2025 6th International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering (ICAMME 2025), hosted by Beihang University, was successfully held in Beijing, China, from December 12 to 14, 2025. The conference brought together more than 60 experts and scholars from renowned institutions including Tsinghua University, Beihang University, Chongqing University, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing Institute of Technology, Tun Hussein Onn University of Malaysia, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Liaoning Technical University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and China University of Petroleum (East China).

The conference agenda featured an opening address, a group photo session, keynote speeches, and oral presentations. The opening address was delivered by Prof. Zhao Zilong from Beihang University. During the keynote session, four distinguished scholars shared their latest research. Prof. Zhang Liang from Chongqing University presented a report titled “A Probabilistic Geometric Imperfection Model for Uncertainty Quantification of Inflatable Beams with Local Structure Instability”; Prof. Zhang Liyuan from University of Science and Technology Beijing gave a speech on “Tensegrity Mechanics and Applications”; Associate Prof. Wan Chao from Beijing Institute of Technology delivered a talk entitled “Study on the Static and Dynamic Mechanical Behaviors of Human Soft Tissue for Human-Robot Physical Interaction”; and Prof. Yusri Yusof from Tun Hussein Onn University of Malaysia shared insights on “Smart CNC 4.0: Connecting Legacy Systems to IoT and Green Manufacturing”.

The conference provided a platform for researchers to exchange their latest findings and explore future directions in related fields.
