![]() | Prof. Liang ZhangChongqing University, ChinaLiang Zhang, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Aerospace Engineering, Chongqing University, currently holds several key positions, including Member of the Computational Mechanics Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Deputy Director of the Southern Computational Mechanics Liaison Committee, Council Member of the Chongqing Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and Director of the Engineering Mechanics Institute at Chongqing University. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Dalian University of Technology in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Engineering Mechanics at Tsinghua University. Between 2017 and 2018, he was a visiting scholar in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. His long-term research focuses on computational solid mechanics, with primary interests in computational mechanics of flexible structures, intelligent algorithms for complex systems, and the development of domestically independent CAE software. He has published over 60 SCI/EI academic papers, including multiple articles in prestigious journals such as Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering, International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Computational Mechanics, International Journal of Solids and Structures, and AIAA Journal. |
![]() | Prof. Liyuan ZhangUniversity of Science and Technology Beijing, ChinaProfessor and PhD Supervisor, University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB). He received his Ph.D. in Mechanics from Tsinghua University in 2014 and has since been engaged in teaching and research at the School of Mechanical Engineering, USTB. His research focuses on the design of mechanical metamaterials/superstructures, bionic soft robots, deployable space equipment, and micro-vibration testing systems. He has presided over more than 20 research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (one Youth Fund and three General Projects), the National Key R&D Program (serving as the task leader of the Young Scientist Project), and aerospace technology contracts. He has published over 50 SCI/EI papers in top journals in the fields of mechanical engineering and solid mechanics and is the first inventor of nearly 20 authorized patents. He serves as a Young Editor of Acta Mechanica Sinica, an editorial board member of Spacecraft Environment Engineering, and a reviewer for internationally renowned journals such as Advanced Materials. |
![]() | Prof. Yusri YusofUniversiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, MalaysiaDr. Yusri Yusof is a Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), appointed as UTHM Board of Director (BoD) member for 3 years from 10 May, 2021 by the Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia, and University Senate member for more than 10 years. Prof. Yusri was recognized as a Visiting Professor from the Islamic University of Madinah, Saudi Arabia, on 1 September 2019. He owns a PhD in Manufacturing, obtained from the University of Loughborough, the United Kingdom, in 2007. His doctoral thesis was on STEP Compliant Approach to Turning Operations in manufacturing engineering and passed without correction in his PhD viva. Prof. Yusri led about 20 grant research projects involving almost RM2 million under Science fund (MOSTI), Prototype Research Grant (PRGS), Fundamental Research Grant (FRGS) and Internal Research Fund under Intelligent Manufacture for STEP-NC Compliant Machining projects. He has served on the Editorial Board of International Journals and is currently involved in several international bodies such as the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Senior member of the Science and Engineering Institute (SCIEI), The World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET) Scientific and Technical Committees, editorial & reviewer’s boards and Senior member of the International Association of Engineering Technology (IAET).
